Kirmann’s wines are recognized and rewarded by the specialised press and wine contests.
For this occasion, we presented our crémant Blanc de Noirs, created with Pinot Noir grapes. It is a strong crémant that you can serve at appetizer or desserts.
Effervescents du Monde® is an organisation of Association Forum Œnologie.
A rosé Cremant to brighten up your summer days.
After a late harvest Gewurztraminer awarded in 2019, the 2016 pinot noir aged in oak barrels receives the highest decoration from the 2020 Hachette Guide (3 stars and “Coup de coeur”). The red wines of the estate are often welcomed by our tasters.
Far from being crushed by a fourteen month aging in new barrels, the grape fully asserts its aromatic qualities and plays with finesse, nose and palate, the partition of cherry and raspberry, embellished by a refined wood with accents of vanilla, cocoa and toasted almond. The wine shows purple hints of youth, palate is elegantly structured, melted and fresh.
About 2017 Pinot Noir, it receives 2 stars.
With its deep color, its exuberant and fine nose, full of black cherry, this wine is generous, elegant, structured, silky and has a long finish. Only potential.
To celebrate the end of the Year, Kirmann’s property has been decorated with traditionnal Chrismas garlands.
The 25th and 26th June 2016, the Vyneyard opened its door to general public to make it discover our varieties.
For those two beautiful and shinny days, Big Olive & Friends played 70’s music and we offered a degustation of our Millésime 2015.
