Guide Hachette 2020

After a late harvest Gewurztraminer awarded in 2019, the 2016 pinot noir aged in oak barrels receives the highest decoration from the 2020 Hachette Guide (3 stars and “Coup de coeur”). The red wines of the estate are often welcomed by our tasters.

Far from being crushed by a fourteen month aging in new barrels, the grape fully asserts its aromatic qualities and plays with finesse, nose and palate, the partition of cherry and raspberry, embellished by a refined wood with accents of vanilla, cocoa and toasted almond. The wine shows purple hints of youth, palate is elegantly structured, melted and fresh.

About 2017 Pinot Noir, it receives 2 stars.
With its deep color, its exuberant and fine nose, full of black cherry, this wine is generous, elegant, structured, silky and has a long finish. Only potential.
